Punctuation in email???????
I wonder why people feel the need to put an inordinate amount of punctuation in emails?????????? In my job people send in request for help………I guess they think that putting more than one question mark or exclamation mark will get their point across more clearly………Personally I hate seeing tons of punctuation in an email……It really gets under my skin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway…….Glad to get that off my chest!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else feel the same way?????????????

1Well, you know *I* dislike over-punctuation probably more than I dislike under-punctuation! {But then since I was an English teacher in a former life…}

2I know exactly what you mean. I tend to read the words aloud in my head (does that even make sense?) and it feels as if they’re screaming. In fact, I was cringing the whole time reading this post. *chuckles*

4There are a couple teachers here who insist upon either using the plethora of punctuation or, even worse ALL CAPITAL LETTERS FOR EVERYTHING THEY WRITE.
Seriously. Use to learn the shift key damnit or DIAF.
